I packed not one, not two, but something closer to nine boxes full of books today. Mostly trade paperback collections of comics. I think I should revise my renters' insurance upwards: these wouldn't be cheap to replace.

I discovered that all twenty-eight super-small bound volumes of Lone Wolf and Cub fit neatly into a box that held "Legende del Milagro" tequila, with exactly enough room left over for all five of Scott Morse's Soulwind.

I completely agree. Except I have a very hard time getting rid of books. I don't like to get rid of books that I like, and if I hate them then I feel bad about giving them away, for example on BookCrossing.

I finally realized I can sell them (those I don't like) to used bookstores. But I have a very hard time even selecting a few for that purpose.

That's what seems so great about Bookcrossing, though -- you can leave them somewhere random and not inflict them on people you know! You can always donate them to the Salvation Army or something, too.
