Actually, this very situation happened to me once at ACt when a guy laughed because I had two jobs. yes, it;s true. I felt real good that day...
Especially when these fuckers give thousands of dollars to the stupid regional theater where everyone is dying and no one will commission me to finish my new play ( by a women playwright, new works dammnit !!!!!)

So basically nobody else said anything except "yes" and "thank you," because the president was so busy patting himself on the back.

He sounds like my grandfather, who had an incredible brain for finance but 5 years ago had a stroke and now can partially express ideas, as long as they're not too complex, but it's painfully obvious that he no longer understands the intricacies, and if he does, he can't effectively communicate them.
