trocheeI just got a jaywalking ticket for running across Broadway in the crosswalk with no traffic coming, in order to catch a bus. The cops pulled their car out around the corner and honked at me.
and of course I missed the bus while they wrote me up. And then I missed one of my favorite professor's talks.
it's $46, which is almost not worth fighting. I am fairly sure that if I went to court over this, the mitigation would reduce it hugely (or throw it out). But I'd really rather not.
gah. some days it would have been better to stay home.

i suppose it's nice.
i personally prefer the mess of places like paris and ny city when it comes to traffic. maybe it's more like the ocean: unpredictable. ;)
