LEXICON: Game without rules
Mar. 26th, 2006 12:50 pmIf you read language blogs or Linguist List you've probably already found this.
LEXICON: Game without rules. I found it via Semantic Compositions and I'm proud to say I'm on screen 7 in less than 15 minutes.
It's really quite fun, if you're a linguistics fan and/or puzzle junkie (although this one is pretty linguistics-heavy). I think I could get into this kind of puzzle game if I had more time.

Date: 2006-03-27 07:47 pm (UTC)8 took me much longer, partly because of a transposition in the graphic and partly because I wasn't trying.
once I got 8, I zoomed through and am now on 17 but haven't looked at it hard yet.

Any hints for number 16? It's probably really simple, but I have no formal linguistic training at all (I've gotten by using Google, Wikipedia, and guessing, and smattering of stuff picked up from here and there)
And did you ever solve 17?

Anyway, thanks again!
