I've done a draft of chapter 1.
it's nearly 40 pages already, although that includes 8 pages of University-mandated cruft.
apologies to those of you (including Trey of SpecGram, who recently piped up) for not having more to say.
Perhaps later I'll share a draft abstract with you all.
in the mean time, my younger, better-looking brother (aka
_dkg_) has some interesting writing about desktop publishing on Linux, computer security, politics, and being bitten by a snake in Shenandoah. And don't miss his group blog with two way-too-smart highschool classmates, which covers everything from cyborg humanity to alternative energy to guerilla art.
