lapartera is now using a Debian laptop. (thanks _dkg_!)

I know, it helps to have geeks in the family. But this gives me hope for the eventual coming of the Revolution.

_dkg_ is such a fabulous teacher that learning this stuff and sorting through the bits of code, etc. has been really fun. Of course I get to talk to him about life in between the bits of code, too. But the truth is, I am a bit of a geek behind the granola midwife part, too, and I love this stuff.

I managed to install a good bit of what I needed with only minimal help from him, though setting up the original Linux/Windows partition on this laptop would have been way beyond my talents.
