why is it that my own post from noon-ish isn't turning up on my own friends page?

[UPDATE: posting this post seems to have jiggled the database appropriately so that it coughed loose the old post. Hmm... I wonder what LJ is doing to their server architecture that's causing all this grief.]
[UPDATE redux: nope, now it's gone again. and so is this post... *sigh*]

I can see them both. Were you logged in when you were looking? I've panicked before then realized that I wasn't logged in.

Oh, and woohoo! about the last post!

I checked the log-in status, and I had some of my housemates (lj user="exterra"/> and [livejournal.com profile] thevorak check; it just wasn't showing up.

Actually, this morning it's still not showing up. [livejournal.com profile] lj_maintenance says they're transferring a bunch of databases. I have to assume that's what the cause is.

woohoo! indeed.

It wasn't showing up for me either - I looked at your journal to check something in an old post of yours and though "Huh, why isn't that most recent post there on my friends page?" Quite confusing.

By the way, on it's content, I echo [livejournal.com profile] chachachana's congratulations on finding a smooching partner! :-)
