two years in, lucky to have seventy more on deck

I've been married to boobirdsfly for two years as of today. I met her in 2004 (it's documented here!), and I described us as "mutually distracted".

our wedding photos, almost three years later, reflect more "mutual distraction".

We were so lucky to go to a different wedding just last week in Seattle (that of blackwingedboy, who performed our own wedding ceremony), and we went back to the scene of the joy on our own earlier this week, and took photos there too.

(being married to an excellent photographer -- among her many other talents -- has its virtues.)

I'm often present to how much it means to me to be married to D. The anniversary is *not* the only day that matters, of course, but it's a happy occasion to remember what an amazing thing we have together.
