Okay, so I didn't know what the Voynich manuscript was.

But it seems like this community would be interested in in this bizarre coded manuscript from the 16th century.

The Voynich manuscript is super interesting. There is a huge group of people on the net who have studied it, and their attempts are interesting in their own right... I think the main starting point is http://voynich.nu. There are others tho, and of course it's highly Googleable.

I'd like to read more about how a Cardan Grille works... guess we'll just have to wait for the article.
