[comic] In which I rescue a professor

Another comic. It's been a while!

In which I rescue a professor

A big shout-out to [livejournal.com profile] blackwingedboy and [livejournal.com profile] imtboo who went in together to get me a Wacom Intuos3 tablet, which I used to "ink" this (I used Inkscape). This is a powerful tool and it makes comics creation fun.

You guys rock!

Wow.
The drawing is really very well done on this.
And the small details that make us able to tell that it was a party... nice !

Soon you will have enough comics for a chap book !

Very nice! i particularly like the professor's expression in the lower left, and the interrogator's expression in the final panel.

PS do they really say "how 'bout them ..." in Seattle? I always figured that was a GA dawgs expression. It's a wonderfully awkward post-punchline.

heh, those are my favorite two expressions as well.

they don't say "how 'bout them X" in Seattle, AFAIK. But I needed to express the prof "seizing the moment" to self-consciously change the subject in a nice compact way, and that line popped up in my inner dialogue coach.
