[seattle] Maker events tomorrow and 2/13

I've enjoyed the Seattle-area "maker" community's DIY attitude and "why not" curious geek play, and it's a great community to network in the local tech community too. Two events (both free admission) are coming up in the next week and a half:

This Wednesday night, 2/7 (tomorrow!): Dorkbot Seattle has its February meeting in Fremont, theme: "multimedia performance".
7:30pm: screenings and solo performances.

Next Tuesday 2/13, there's Ignite Seattle! at the Capitol Hill Arts Center .
Several hours of Seattle-area geek-out: maker-based egg drop (4:30-7:30), the "Ask Later" talks: 5-minute talks on all sorts of subjects.

I heard about these, and went to check them out -- the egg machines were pretty cool -- and I learned about open ID, which I'm now trying out for the first time :)
