Thanks to an international polyglot mailing list (dorkbot international), I saw a MadrideƱo write "sorry for the exabrupt."

Thus I learned the Spanish word exabrupto: "sudden outburst, harsh remark".

I am all for English adoption of the word. Apologies for the exabrupt.
