How White and Nerdy Are You?
thanks to seaya. This is funnier if you've seen the video, which is highly, highly recommended. OMG I may have to do this for karaoke, if I can find someone who knows how.

As a matter of fact, I am so nerdy I proofread for fun; today and yesterday I've been copyediting for imtboo and for a labmate. I should add that imtboo is a wicked inspiring writer, and it's an honor to proof that kind of work. A little scary, actually, because I love her voice and I am reluctant to touch it. I do pretty good with periods and commas too, though. Actually, I'm a pretty good proofreader. Somebody needs to write a hiphop parody about that. Maybe it should be me.

yeah, it's definitely the comic-books-and-computers flavor of white-and-nerdy. Maybe you should write another version for the white-coats-and-test-tubes variety?
