[seattle] massage recommendations

i need recommendations for a massage practitioner in Seattle. I'm hoping for someone who can be gentle with someone who has really never had massage work, and is likely to be in a lot of complicated fear and release. (yes, it's me.)

Ideally he or she would be in the U district or Capitol Hill.

Darcy is great. Really good with boundaries and as gentle or deep as you want. She's on Capitol Hill across from St. Mark's and gives an hour and 1/2 for $60. She also does craniosacral, which can be quite a trip. Also very encouraging to be present in the body... Lemme know if you want her phone number.

I had massages with Darcy and I know you love her Mim , and she is a great girl but I don't think she'd be right for J.
She can be jarring and say the wrong things because she is so direct at times.
( great if you know her but she has offended me before and I am not one to get offended !)

I really like Leandra Darcy. She's in Madrona. Mellow, down-to-earth, responsive/communicative with a good touch.
