The IKEA walkthrough

In honor of the five-hour home-decorating marathon gauntlet of Swedish flatpack furniture that imtboo and I went through yesterday (with coaching and support from blackwingedboy), I am posting a link to the IKEA walkthrough. (update: it's a lot more violent than I remember.)

I must say, we did extremely well. And considering what we bought -- paying for delivery (tomorrow) was extremely wise. So great, that somebody else is going to take it all up the stairs.

Well, I couldn't even make it through the IKEA walkthrough, but the part I read was pretty funny and no more violent than most games that it's modeled on, I'll bet. Did you know we have an IKEA here now? Our new rugs in the livingroom and trombo2's study come from there. It (only) took us 2 hours to choose 2 rugs!

Yay for free delivery to your walk up apartment! Hope you'll be posting some photos of the results at some point.

And if you two can do a five hour shopping expedition and not fight, this relationship has some staying power!!!!! Hooray for you both -- and blackwingedboy, of course.

And yes,I agree, that was pretty amazing what we just did.
We actually were all laughing on our way out the door pushing our three huge carts !!!
