real quick
Dec. 10th, 2005 05:04 pmThursday we went to see Bloody Mess -- a very very strange, but wonderful piece of experimental theater. Don't really have words for it, but I bet google will help.
Last night, D and I went to hear Rosie Thomas. Also wonderful, in a totally different way. David Bazan (of Pedro the Lion) was an opening act; both of them are really charismatic on stage.
Today, on the way to the internet cafe, I ran into Andy, a friend through
_dkg_, who lives with his wife and child (and little dog, too!) two blocks from my apartment. Andy insisted that I turn around and come back to their place for "just a few minutes" and he took me into their apartment, where I was totally flummoxed to see Ian I! Ian and I graduated highschool together, and he is now living in Santa Fe doing visual art.
I have some thoughts about what it means to run into somebody like Ian. But I don't have those thoughts all together right now -- just that it feels like a sign that things are going well in my life.
