I'm back from places East. it was marvelous and difficult, and absolutely gorgeous.

I made it across the Atlantic both ways legally, due to a peculiar business in New York that capitalizes off panicking international travelers.

My comprehension of spoken French is substantially improved. Also French comics (er, "bande dessinée") are an entertaining way to expand vocabulary. I am looking at taking a class in French but there aren't any openings this quarter. Maybe next quarter. School starts Wednesday.

I'm still wildly jet-lagged. I am digging out from under the email drifts.

haven't caught up on anybody's livejournal at all. I hope to get to that before the end of the next week. School starts Wednesday.

Hey, welcome back! Beer drinking is in order!
And as for French, unless you need the credits, you could always audit. They're usually really cool about it & the TA's are receptive to auditors.

you know, I should look at auditing for this quarter maybe. I need no new credits. It's a lot of time to add to my schedule with no credits though: if I don't get the credits, I have other classes too.
