More computer search grief

trocheeI'm cheap.
This is really my problem, not a rant about how the world is out to get me, regardless of what it may sound like. I have enough money to afford a nice new toy but want to get it at basement prices.
I spent something like nine hours on the internet yesterday looking for a cheap lightweight laptop, but I want it to run Debian and weigh less than five pounds, and cost less than $1000. This is the one I want but I am worried that it doesn't support Linux (er, doesn't support Linux well)...
