[not] getting things done

I have thus far today:

• consumed three cups of coffee, a limonada, and three halibut tacos. Not quite in that order, but pretty close.
• read livejournal for two hours
• read ranting about NetFlix and the story of the Wal-mart/Netflix collaboration; current conclusion: GreenCine seems Less Evil and worth a try for west-coasters. Although their website could use a brad-style database makeover for the forums.
• obsessively reloaded LJ about thirty times
• written a note to secondary committee members to let them know I'm still alive
• talked about Watchmen with beckyb, who has apparently not! read! it!
• read over advisor's notes on the first half of chapter 2
• wrote note to advisor reminding that I need details about summer plans
• eyed pile of prosody books with fear
• avoided doing work by making lists on livejournal

Agua Verde, oh yum yum....that used to be about a block away from where I used to work at the UW (the Health Science Center, in the med school) and we'd go for lunch there maybe once a week. Haven't been there since I moved to CH. Yum, yum.
