done today

slow to leave the house today with imtboo after a lovely, pulse-accelerating morning.
watched someone rush to catch the wrong bus, and didn't stop her, even when I saw the right bus pulling up. Felt a teensy bit guilty riding the right bus to school.
attended class; labmate did guest lecture. Asked lots of questions [mostly softball, I'm a nice guy]
tackled a statistical question for a paper revision. It will be final-copy submitted tomorrow.
planned and organized for trip; wish that imtboo could come too -- at least to ATL
sent email to thevorak; sounds like she's in a tough spot with boys right now
got code from bigshot, along with nice email
finished Collins replication (yay, the results are consistent!)

still to do:

~~eat anything [besides a handful of kaju chaat and a can of soda]~~ sometimes Subway is your friend...
target significance testing -- those collins results may have the right polarity but still not be significant...
unzip bigshot code and see if it does the Right Thing for what I need
gather segmentation statistics

If bigshot is who i'm thinking it is, you should submit a cleanup patch to them if you get a minute. It makes all of us look bad when our leaders look bad, you know?
