It looks like I will have a surprise paratroop trip to lovely Providence, RI next weekend. I'll be there from Wednesday morning to sometime Friday, at which point I jump to my hometown of Atlanta, GA on the way back here to Seattle, returning on Memorial Day. Details not yet fixed, although my Providence time on Thursday is very tightly constrained.

It aint. Actually, the summer movie series is meant to be the big, eye-candy, blockbuster, geek fest, must see opening night extravaganza. Originally, it was me sending out a big message saying that I wanted to return to seeing summer movies each Friday night (and throwing outdoor cinema in there too) like I used to with my friends from another life. Troch and Boo really jumped on it, and now it's a Thing, which is even better.

Pants isn't on my schedule for this kind of thing. But it should be noted that this is not the only time a group can gather to see a movie. This is just the Friday Night thing.

Troch and I are a bit wary about FF, but I'm sure it will be consumed.
