  • stage up comic boxes etcetera from basement
  • move computer monitors to basement? no, taking one and leaving another
  • disassemble table
  • clear desk all but computer monitor

  • clear BR bookshelf into boxes
  • move BR bookshelf downstairs
  • assemble kitchen stuff into boxes
  • id stuff to go to goodwill nothing, I think
  • id stuff to go into basement nothing, I think
  • laundry
  • disassemble futon

To temporarily stop thrashing, you need to terminate one or more applications. To stop it permanently, you need to install more main memory.

Disk thrashing can result in permanent failure of the hard drive; as the data is transferred back and forth, the hard drive’s read/write heads are subjected to considerable wear and tear.
