can any of the HTML wizards on my f-list please tell me what's wrong with the text I copy-pasted from the source in the previous two entries? It's screwing up stuff in my journal layout whenever it's not behind a cut.

no sweat. I copied it from Osho, with only a link, so it's really my problem.

edit: thanks to lx, it's fixed.

Extra table closure

Looks like you've got an extra closing </td></tr></table> sequence (not so concisely formatted, but you get the idea). It's prematurely terminating tables in your page's layout.

Yep, that's what I spotted too. Using tables in an LJ post is, in my experience, the easiest way to miscode and totally screw up your layout.

I was copying and pasting from the source of a web page.

just mangled the copy when I did it.

Can i have some cake too ? I mean i am not that great with computers, but i have a boyfriend who is really good with them, and like, uh, he is been teaching me stuff, and like, uh, i am getting better an' stuff.
