keeping a log
Feb. 16th, 2005 12:24 pmI've just discovered what seems -- at the moment -- to be a helpful psychological tool to keep myself motivated and focused. It may not shock livejournalers, because the tool is this:
write down what you're doing.
I'm using my lab notebook as a place to keep a log of what I'm doing from moment to moment. Well, more like 15-minute chunks.
This is a good way to keep accountable to my own priorities. I'm not doing it in LJ because it really is boring, but it's something I can review to say "I did *this* today."
