Jan. 17th, 2005 06:22 pmIt is what all us unreformed hippies like in a videogame: creative, original, noncompetitive, nonviolent, colorful, catchy, and very very silly. (okay, there's a little bit of destructiveness in it, but in the sort of building-with-blocks-so-you-can-knock-them-down way.)
It's brilliant. As
it's everything our games ought to be. It's enough that it has a unique vision and a completely new style of play as well as ridiculously simple controls. But beyond that, the aesthetic of the game: the art, the story, and the music, themselves make it incredible. And it's cheap, too!
