that's kind of sad *has a great fondness for hair* how much shorter? (It's difficult to tell what length your hair actually is from that photo other than 'not very short'.)
Have fun! When A cut his hair last year he had a blast for the next week or two as people did double takes and/or entirely failed to recognize him. His haircut was a little more dramatic than what it sounds like you're planning, though... very long hair to short generic guy haircut. (Which looks great, despite the unflattering description I just wrote.)
Did any one else gasp when they read this? My. When I got my hair cut, my rule was (and is) that I need to be able to pull it completely off my face to the back of my head. This meant much longer in the front than in the back. If you are used to being able to pull it away from your face and don't get it cut short enough to not be annoying, it can be, well, annoying. Good luck! (I bet you won't run away when it's over. And neither will Boo.)
